JPA?

This is the first time my father showed concern towards my education.

This afternoon around 2pm, I got a call from him asking me to check Sunday’s Sin Chew Jit Poh for informations regarding JPA. After getting the informations needed from the newspaper, I called my father to report to him. Assuming that he was getting those info for his friend/colleague, I told him the website to get the form. I even told him that his friend can buy the form from Bank Simpanan Nasional with the cost of RM 6.50.

Then the shock came. He said was actually asking for me, not for his friend. He said his friend’s son got it a few years ago; currently studying at Australia. *From what my father told me through the phone, if I ever get it and complete my studies with excellent result using the JPA loan, the loan can be converted to a scholarship.* I told him that if I want to get it, I must have very good result (from the website, I need to have a whole bunch of 2A to get the course I want). But I’m not even sure whether I can get results as good as my sister did (8A’s). So, how am I daring to think about getting a JPA loan?
